I’m Sachiko (Mara), a Colorado Springs photographer specializing in outdoor portraits, lifestyle sessions, and animal photography. My name means “happy girl” in Japanese — fitting, since I’ve been smiling and giggling since day one.

My dog Miel (short for “Honey” in French) has been my adventure partner since 2022 and often tags along on shoots.

I’m passionate about learning, languages, and improving everything I touch. Photography is where those things meet — capturing real people, real animals, and real moments with clarity and warmth.
